Why Do Christians Always Talk About God? A Real Answer for Real Life
Mar 23, 2025
Let’s be honest—if you’ve ever asked yourself, “Why are Christians always talking about God?” …you’re not alone.
I used to feel that way, too. I remember the first time someone came to my door to talk about faith. I wanted to slam the door and get back to my day. It felt uncomfortable and honestly, it felt pushy.
But now? I’m that person. Not knocking on doors—but sharing this message every chance I get. Why? Because something happened in my life that I can’t keep to myself.
When Life Changes You, You Share It
Think about it—if you discovered a cure for cancer, would you keep it to yourself? If someone was drowning, would you just cheer them on from the shore? Of course not. You’d do something. That’s how faith feels for many of us.
We're not trying to fix people. We’re just trying to share something that changed everything.
Even “Successful” People Are Searching
We talk a lot about faith helping the broken—and it does. But what about the ones who look like they have it all together? The great job. The perfect family. The curated social media life.
And yet… something’s still missing.
That constant chase for the next level
The feeling of being “almost” fulfilled—but not quite
The haunting question: Is this all there is?
That ache you feel—it’s not weakness. It’s a signal. A clue that maybe you were never meant to find fulfillment in temporary things.
Mark 8:36 – “What good is it to gain the whole world, yet lose your soul?”
Why We Share Jesus
Not to preach. Not to guilt. Not to force.
But to offer something eternal—something deeper than the next achievement or external win.
Faith isn’t just for rock bottom. It’s for the top of the mountain too—because without God, even the summit can feel empty.
We’re Not Here to Slam Doors—We Want to Open Them
As someone who now shares this message, I wrestle with how to share it. Every time I post, I pray, “God, help me say this in a way that meets people where they are.”
Because I get it. Christians can be a lot sometimes. But I believe in truth spoken in love, not pressure.
So to the curious, the skeptical, or the unsure:
I’m not here to change you. I’m here to invite you. When you’re ready, we’ll be here.
And to the Christians:
Share Jesus. But don’t shove Him. Let people see God through how we love, not how loud we shout.
